... but it looks like Audi finally has a full remedy for the B7 A4 Takata airbags. Got the letter today. Damn!

I had already taken my car in for an interim replacement a few months back, but all they were doing was putting a brand new (and therefore not deteriorated) version of the same defective detonators in there. Absolutely wild the reach of this whole thing.

Wow, I thought I had it bad. I had the one in my old b7  replaced a year ago!

I don’t think the full fix was out a year ago, though. It was just an interim replacement while they put out revised parts. I take it you got rid of yours?

I did, but I confirmed at the time that it was the improved part and not just a new defective bag
